I have decided to choose one Russian word a day to learn, along with Amber. Her posts about this venture can be found at RebmaEsor on Xanga. I decided to keep my list on my own blog so that she wouldn't have to maintain both lists. :-)

So, here's today's and yesterday's word for me:

Today:

товарищ tovarishch - comrade. I'm so risqué and non-politically correct! But can there be a word in the Russian language that would be more fun to use?

(Мне) Нравится - (I) like.

Let's see, if we both keep this up for about a month, I figure we'll "know" 60 words each and should be more than ready to try our hands at Russian grammar.
